Section 589(b) of the William M.
(Mac)Thornberry National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2021 ( Public Law 116–283 ; 10 U.S.C. 1791 note) is amended by striking five locations and inserting six locations . Not later than 90 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Defense shall publish and maintain on a website of the Department of Defense, accessible by members of the Armed Forces, waiting lists for child care services at military child development centers. On the website described in paragraph (1), the Secretary shall publish a tool that uses data collected by the Secretary to estimate how long a member assigned to serve at a military installation will likely wait before receiving child care services at the military child development center of such installation.
