There is established in the Executive Office of the President an Office of Manufacturing and Industrial Innovation Policy (referred to in this title as the Office ) to serve as a source of manufacturing and industrial innovation analysis and judgment for the President with respect to the major policies, plans, and programs of the Federal Government relating to manufacturing and industrial innovation.
