Section 3763 of title 38, United States Code, is amended— by redesignating subsection
(b)as subsection (c); and by inserting after subsection
(a)the following: For fiscal year 2023 and each fiscal year thereafter, there is authorized to be appropriated, and there is appropriated, out of any monies in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, $20,000,000 to the Secretary, for deposit in the Account. The amount made available under paragraph
(1)for fiscal year 2024 and each fiscal year thereafter shall be adjusted annually to reflect the change in the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers published by the Bureau of Labor Statistics. . Section 3765(3)(B) of title 38, United States Code, is amended by striking native Hawaiian, as that term is defined in section 201(a)(7) of the Hawaiian Homes Commission Act, 1920 ( and inserting Public Law 67–34 ; 42 Stat. 108) Native Hawaiian, as that term is defined in section 6207 of the Native Hawaiian Education Act ( . 20 U.S.C. 7517 )
