The numerical limitations in sections 201, 202, and 203 of the Immigration and Nationality Act ( 8 U.S.C. 1151 , 1152 and 1153) shall not apply during fiscal year 2023 or during any subsequent fiscal year to an alien described in section 101(a)(27)(J) of that Act ( 8 U.S.C. 1101(a)(27)(J) ) for whom a petition for classification under section 203(b)(4) of that Act ( 8 U.S.C. 1153(b)(4) ) was filed before October 1, 2023. This section shall take effect on June 1, 2023.
