Not later than one year after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Attorney General shall submit to the Committees on Appropriations of the House of Representatives and the Senate, and the Committees on the Judiciary of the House of Representatives and of the Senate, a report assessing compliance by the Department of Justice with section 4712 of title 42, United States Code, and section 3.908–9 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation. This report shall further describe the implementation status, and all actions taken in response to, recommendations related to whistleblower protection from the Government Accountability Office and the Department of Justice Office of Inspector General.
