The Medicare Payment Advisory Commission shall conduct a study for purposes of making recommendations regarding how to improve health care and other support needs of individuals who are eligible for and are receiving medical assistance for the payment of medicare cost-sharing under a State Medicaid program pursuant to clause (i), (iii), or
(iv)of section 1902(a)(10)(E) of the Social Security Act ( 42 U.S.C. 1396a(a)(10)(E) ). Not later than 18 months after the date of enactment of this Act, the Medicare Payment Advisory Commission shall submit to Congress a report on the study conducted under subsection (a), together with recommendations for such legislation and administrative action as the Commission determines to be appropriate.
