Section 9(b)(5) of the Richard B. Russell National School Lunch Act ( 42 U.S.C. 1758(b)(5) ) is amended— in subparagraph (D), by striking or at the end; in subparagraph (E)(ii), by striking the period at the end and inserting ; or ; and by adding at the end the following: a child who is an enrolled member, or who has 1 or more parents who are enrolled members, of an Indian tribe (as defined in section 4 of the Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act ( 25 U.S.C. 5304 )). .
