Section 589C(e) of the William M.
(Mac)Thornberry National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2021 ( Public Law 116–283 ; 10 U.S.C. 2164 note) is amended by striking four years after the date of the enactment of this Act and inserting on July 1, 2029 . Not later than December 31, 2028, the Secretary of Defense shall submit to the Committees on Armed Services of the Senate and the House of Representatives a report on the conduct of the pilot program under section 589C(e) of the William M.
(Mac)Thornberry National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2021 ( Public Law 116–283 ; 10 U.S.C. 2164 note). The report required by paragraph
(1)shall include a description of— the locations at which the pilot program described in paragraph
(1)is carried out; the number of students participating in the program for each academic year by location; and the outcome measures used to gauge the value of the program to the Department of Defense.
