Section 1106 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2022 ( Public Law 117–81 ; 135 Stat. 1950) is amended— in subsection (a)(1), by striking December 31, 2022 and inserting December 31, 2024 ; and in subsection (b), by adding at the end the following new paragraph: The amendments made by paragraphs
(1)and
(2)shall take effect on December 31, 2024. .
