Sections 735 and 736 of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act ( 21 U.S.C. 379g ; 379h) shall cease to be effective October 1, 2027. Section 736B of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act ( 21 U.S.C. 379h–2 ) shall cease to be effective January 31, 2028. Effective October 1, 2022, subsections
(a)and
(b)of section 104 of the FDA Reauthorization Act of 2017 ( Public Law 115–52 ) are repealed.
