Section 520G of the Public Health Service Act ( 42 U.S.C. 290bb–38 ) is amended— in subsection (c)(2)(A)(i)— by inserting support continuity of care (including in consultation with the individual's mental health clinician when feasible and with continuation of previously prescribed psychotropic medication and medication for the treatment of substance use disorder, as appropriate), after evidence-based practices, ; by inserting to relevant medications approved by the Food and Drug Administration after management and access ; and by inserting peer recovery support services, after co-occurring substance use disorder treatment, ; in subsection (e)(4) by inserting and response (including suicide prevention) after crisis intervention ; and in subsection (j), by striking $4,269,000 for each of fiscal years 2018 through 2022 and inserting $6,269,000 for each of fiscal years 2023 through 2027 .
