The Advisory Committee on Training in Primary Care Medicine and Dentistry of the Health Resources and Services Administration shall convene and issue a report that includes— recommendations to optimize the content and competencies of trainees and primary care providers treating pediatric populations to address behavioral health conditions; and best practices for training pediatric providers in behavioral health conditions, utilization of evidence-based screening tools, and follow up care to higher levels of care, when appropriate.
