The Secretary shall expedite the completion of a feasibility study for each of the following projects, and if the Secretary determines that the project is justified in a completed report, may proceed directly to preconstruction planning, engineering, and design of the project: Modifications to the project for flood risk management, North Adams, Massachusetts, authorized by section 5 of the Act of June 22, 1936 (commonly known as the Flood Control Act of 1936 ) (49 Stat. 1572, chapter 688; 33 U.S.C. 701h ), and section 3 of the Act of August 18, 1941 (commonly known as the Flood Control Act of 1941 ) (55 Stat. 639, chapter 377), for flood risk management and ecosystem restoration.

Project for coastal storm risk management, Surf City and North Topsail Beach, North Carolina, authorized by section 7002(3) of the Water Resources Reform and Development Act of 2014 (128 Stat. 1367). Project for water supply and ecosystem restoration, Howard A. Hanson Dam, Washington, authorized by section 101(b)(15) of the Water Resources Development Act of 1999 (113 Stat. 281). Project for ecosystem restoration, Central and Southern Florida, Indian River Lagoon, Florida, authorized by section 1001(14) of the Water Resources Development Act of 2007 (121 Stat. 1051).
The Secretary shall expedite the completion of the following assessments under section 729 of the Water Resources Development Act of 1986 ( 33 U.S.C. 2267a ): Great Lakes Coastal Resiliency Study, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. Ouachita-Black Rivers, Arkansas and Louisiana. Project for watershed assessment, Hawaii County, Hawaii. The Secretary shall expedite the completion of the disposition study for the Los Angeles County Drainage Area under section 216 of the Flood Control Act of 1970 ( 33 U.S.C. 549a ).
