Not later than 1 year after the date of enactment of this Act, the Comptroller General of the United States shall conduct a review of the factors and conditions for each ongoing water resources development project carried out by the Secretary for which— the current estimated total project cost of the project exceeds the original estimated total project cost of the project by not less than $50,000,000; or the current estimated completion date of the project exceeds the original estimated completion date of the project by not less than 5 years.
The Comptroller General of the United States shall submit to the Committee on Environment and Public Works of the Senate and the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure of the House of Representatives a report on the findings of the review under subsection (a).
