Section 332 of the FAA Reauthorization Act of 2018 ( 49 U.S.C. 44706 note) is amended by adding at the end the following: Not later than October 5, 2024, the Administrator, using the latest version of National Fire Protection Association 403, Standard for Aircraft Rescue and Fire-Fighting Services at Airports , shall prohibit the use of fluorinated chemicals in firefighting foam at airports. .
