Section 205 of the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007 ( 42 U.S.C. 17021 ) is amended— in subsection (b)— by redesignating paragraphs
(1)through
(3)as subparagraphs
(A)through (C), respectively, and indenting appropriately; in the matter preceding subparagraph
(A)(as so redesignated), by striking Not later than and inserting the following: Not later than ; and by adding at the end the following: Renewable diesel or renewable diesel blends that meet ASTM D975 diesel specifications shall not require any additional label. ; and in subsection (c)— by redesignating paragraphs

The term renewable diesel blend means a blend that contains— renewable diesel; and petroleum-based diesel fuel. .
