Section 212(a)(3) of the Immigration and Nationality Act ( 8 U.S.C. 1182(a)(3) ) is amended by adding at the end the following: Any alien who has ordered, incited, solicited, funded, assisted, or otherwise participated in female genital mutilation is inadmissible. . Section 237(a)(4) of such Act (8 U.S.C. 1227 (a)(4)) is amended by adding at the end the following: Any alien who has ordered, incited, solicited, funded, assisted, or otherwise participated in female genital mutilation is deportable. .
Nothing in the amendments made by this section may be construed to limit the applicability of grounds of inadmissibility or removal to conduct occurring before the date of the enactment of this Act.
