Section 7512 of title 5, United States Code, is amended— in paragraph (4), by striking and at the end; and by striking paragraph
(5)and inserting the following: a furlough of more than 14 days but less than 30 days; and a furlough of 13 days or less that is not due to a lapse in appropriations; . The amendment made by subsection
(a)shall apply to any furlough covered by paragraph
(5)or
(6)of section 7512 of title 5, United States Code, as amended by such subsection, occurring on or after the date of enactment of this Act.
