Subsection
(a)of section 1209 of the Carl Levin and Howard P. Buck McKeon National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2015 ( Public Law 113–291 ; 127 Stat. 3451) is amended by striking December 31, 2021 and inserting December 31, 2022 . Subsection (b)(2) of such section is amended by striking subparagraph
(A)and inserting the following: not later than 15 days before the expenditure of the first 25 percent of the total amount authorized to be appropriated in any fiscal year under this section; or . The table of contents for the Carl Levin and Howard P. Buck McKeon National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2015 ( Public Law 113–291 ; 127 Stat. 3293) is amended by striking the item relating to section 1209 and inserting the following: Sec. 1209. Authority to provide assistance to vetted Syrian groups and individuals. .
