Section 6503 of title 49, United States Code, is amended— in subsection (a), by striking The Secretary and inserting Not later than 180 days after the date of publication of the Department of Transportation Strategic Plan and not less frequently than once every 5 years thereafter, the Secretary ; in subsection (b), in the matter preceding paragraph (1), by striking The strategic and inserting Each strategic ; in subsection (c)— in the matter preceding paragraph (1), by striking The strategic and inserting Each strategic ; and in paragraph (1)— in subparagraph (E), by striking and at the end; in subparagraph (F), by adding and after the semicolon at the end; and by adding at the end the following: reducing transportation cybersecurity risks; ; in subsection (d)— in the matter preceding paragraph (1), by striking the strategic and inserting each strategic ; and in paragraph (4), by striking 2016 and inserting 2021, and not less frequently than once every 5 years thereafter ; and by striking subsection (e).
