Title I of the Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act ( 42 U.S.C. 5101 et seq.) is amended— by repealing section 114; redesignating section 112 as section 114 and moving such section to the end of title I; by redesignating sections 108 through 111 as sections 109 through 112, respectively; and by inserting after section 107 the following: The Secretary may award a grant under this section to a nonprofit entity to provide for the ongoing operation of a 24-hour, national, toll-free hotline to provide information and assistance to children who are victims of child abuse or neglect, parents, caregivers, mandated reporters, and other concerned community members, including through alternative modalities for communications (such as texting or chat services) with such victims and other information seekers. .
