Section 217 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2018 ( Public Law 115–91 ; 10 U.S.C. 2358 note) is amended— by amending subsection
(c)to read as follows: For the purposes of providing technical expertise and reducing costs and duplicative efforts, the Secretary of Defense and the Secretaries of the military departments shall work to ensure and support the sharing of information on the research and consulting that is being carried out across the Federal Government in Department-wide shared information systems including the Defense Technical Information Center. ; in subsection (e)— by redesignating paragraph
(31)as paragraph (36); and by inserting after paragraph
(30)the following new paragraphs: Nuclear science, security, and nonproliferation. Chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear defense. Spectrum activities. Research security and integrity. Printed circuit boards. ; and in subsection (g), by striking 2026 and inserting 2028 .
