Chapter 951 of title 10, United States Code, is amended by inserting before section 9414 the following new section: There is in the Department of the Air Force a United States Air Force Institute of Technology, the purposes of which are to perform research and to provide, to members of the Air Force and Space Force (including the reserve components) and civilian employees of such Department, advanced instruction and technical education regarding their duties. . The table of sections at the beginning of such chapter is amended by inserting, before the item relating to section 9414, the following new item: 9413. United States Air Force Institute of Technology: establishment. .
