Sec. 539G. Briefing on implementation of certain recommendations of the Independent Review Commission on Sexual Assault in the Military

Not later than 180 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Defense shall provide to the Committees on Armed Services of the Senate and the House of Representatives a briefing on the status of the implementation of the recommendations set forth in the report of the Independent Review Commission on Sexual Assault in the Military titled Hard Truths and the Duty to Change: Recommendations from the Independent Review Commission on Sexual Assault in the Military , and dated July 2, 2021. The briefing under subsection
(a)shall address the following: The status of the implementation of each recommendation, including— whether, how, and to what extent the recommendation has been implemented; and any rules, regulations, policies, or other guidance that have been issued, revised, changed, or cancelled as a result of the implementation of the recommendation. For each recommendation that has not been fully implemented or superseded by statute as of the date of the briefing, a description of any plan for the implementation of the recommendation, including identification of— intermediate actions, milestone dates, and any expected completion date for implementation of the recommendation; and any rules, regulations, policies, or other guidance that are expected to be issued, revised, changed, or cancelled as a result of the implementation of the recommendation.
