In the case of housing that is constructed, altered, or otherwise assisted using amounts made available to the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development under this Act or an amendment made by this Act, sections 8.22 and 8.23 of title 24, Code of Federal Regulations (or any successor regulations) shall be applied such that the number of dwelling units required to be accessible under those sections is twice the number that would otherwise be required to be accessible under those sections.
