In this subtitle: The term appropriate congressional committees means— the Committee on Foreign Relations, the Select Committee on Intelligence, and the Committee on Appropriations of the Senate; and the Committee on Foreign Affairs, the Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, and the Committee on Appropriations of the House of Representatives. The term company means any corporation, company, limited liability company, limited partnership, business trust, business association, or other similar entity. The term other security forces — includes national security forces that conduct maritime security; and does not include self-described militias or paramilitary organizations.
