Section 502 of the Railroad Revitalization and Regulatory Reform Act of 1976 ( 45 U.S.C. 822(h)(3) ) is amended by adding at the end the following: In awarding direct loans or loan guarantees under this section, the Secretary shall require each recipient to comply with section 22905(a) of title 49, United States Code. Notwithstanding paragraph (1), the Secretary shall require the National Railroad Passenger Corporation (Amtrak) to comply with section 24305(f) of title 49, United States Code. .
