The Comptroller General shall conduct a study on the use of foreign-made unmanned aircraft systems in the Federal Government unmanned aircraft fleet. The study under subsection
(a)shall include the following: A review of policies and practices of the Federal Government for the procurement and operation of unmanned aircraft systems manufactured, assembled, use components manufactured in or software developed by a covered foreign entity on the list maintained pursuant to subsection (d). An assessment of the following: The physical safety, privacy, cybersecurity, and supply chain risks associated with these technologies. The operation of these technologies across the Federal Government. The trustworthiness and resilience of these technologies. The availability of unmanned aircraft systems from domestic sources for government use. Not later than 1 year after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Comptroller General shall issue a report to Congress containing all findings and determinations made in carrying out the study required under subsection (a).
