Section 202 of the Immigration Services and Infrastructure Improvements Act of 2000 ( 8 U.S.C. 1571 ) is amended— in paragraph (1)— by striking Immigration and Naturalization Service and inserting Department of Homeland Security ; by striking current backlog and inserting backlog ; and by striking within 1 year after enactment of this Act ; and in paragraph (2), by striking Immigration and Naturalization Service and inserting Department of Homeland Security .
