Section 303(a)(12) of the Social Security Act ( 42 U.S.C. 503(a) ), as amended by section 201, is further amended by inserting after actively seeking work the following: , except that in any case in which the State agency charged with the administration of the State law determines that a claimant is not actively seeking work, the State agency may issue not more than one warning during a benefit year before taking any other action with respect to the claimant’s eligibility for unemployment compensation .
