Section 455(m)(3)(A) ( 20 U.S.C. 1087e(m)(3)(A) ) is amended by inserting before the period at the end the following: that was made before July 1, 2023 . The amendment made by this section shall not apply to any borrower who is a student enrolled in a program of study at an institution of higher education (as defined in section 102 of the Higher Education Act of 1965 ( 20 U.S.C. 1002 )) as of June 30, 2023, or any loans made under part D of title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965 ( 20 U.S.C. 1087a et seq. ) to (or on behalf of) such student, during the period required for the completion of such program.
