Section 304(c)(2) of the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971 ( 52 U.S.C. 30104(c)(2) ) is amended— in subparagraph (A), by adding and at the end; in subparagraph (B), by striking ; and and inserting a period; and by striking subparagraph (C). Section 304(c)(1) of such Act ( 52 U.S.C. 30104(c)(1) ) is amended by striking the information required under subsection (b)(3)(A) for all contributions received by such person and inserting the information required under paragraph
(2). The amendments made by this section shall apply with respect to independent expenditures made on or after the date of the enactment of this Act.
