Section 501 of the Intelligence Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2016 (division M of Public Law 114–113 ; 129 Stat. 2923) is amended— by striking the Russian Federation each place it appears and inserting a covered country ; by striking Club-K container missile system each place it appears and inserting missile launcher disguised as or concealed in a shipping container ; in subsection (a)(1)— by striking deploy, the and inserting deploy, a ; and by striking the Russian military and inserting the military of the covered country ; by striking subsection
(c)and inserting the following new subsection: In this section: The term appropriate congressional committees means the following: The congressional intelligence committees. The Committees on Armed Services of the House of Representatives and the Senate. The Committee on Foreign Affairs of the House of Representatives and the Committee on Foreign Relations of the Senate. The term covered country means the following: Russia. China. Iran. North Korea. ; and in the heading, by striking and inserting CLUB–K CONTAINER MISSILE SYSTEM BY THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION and amending the item relating to section 501 in the table of sections to read accordingly. containerized missile system by Russia or certain other countries
