Sec. 430. Information on cover activities of Department of Defense

Not less frequently than quarterly, the Secretary of Defense shall provide to the appropriate congressional committees information on the cover activities of the Department of Defense. The Secretary shall ensure that the information provided under subsection
(a)includes, with respect to the period covered by the information, the following: A detailed description of each cover activity or cover support activity provided by an element of the Department of Defense to an activity, operation, or other initiative of the Department of Defense or other department or agency of the United States Government, including— a description of the specific activity; and when such activity was approved or decommissioned. Any other matters the Secretary determines appropriate. The information under subsection
(a)may be provided in classified form. In this section, the term appropriate congressional committees means— the congressional intelligence committees; and the congressional defense committees (as defined in section 101(a)(16) of title 10, United States Code).
