Subsection
(b)of section 101A of the National Security Act of 1947 ( 50 U.S.C. 3022 ) is amended— by redesignating paragraph
(8)as paragraph (9); and by inserting after paragraph
(7)the following new paragraph: The Director of the Central Intelligence Agency. . Subsection
(c)of such section is amended— in paragraph (1), by striking ; and and inserting a semicolon; in paragraph (2), by striking the period at the end and inserting ; and ; and by adding at the end the following new paragraph: ensuring that the intelligence community has efficient and effective mechanisms to receive and prioritize the intelligence needs of the departments and agencies of the United States Government that are not part of the intelligence community or the Department of Defense. . Subsection
(d)of such section is amended by striking as the Director considers appropriate and inserting on an annual basis, or more frequently as the Director determines appropriate .
