This section may be cited as the Sgt. Wolf Kyle Weninger Veterans Education Fairness Act of 2022 . Subsection (b)(2) of section 3311 of title 38, United States Code, is amended— in the matter preceding subparagraph (A), by striking who ; by redesignating subparagraphs
(A)and
(B)as clauses
(i)and (ii); by inserting before clause (i), as so redesignated, the following new subparagraph (A): who— ; in clause (ii), as so redesignated— by striking subparagraph
(A)and inserting clause
(i); and by striking the period and inserting or by reason of a sole survivorship discharge (as that term is defined in section 1174(i) of title 10); or ; and by adding at the end the following new subparagraph (B): who— commencing on or after September 11, 2001, completes at least 30 continuous days of service described in subsection
(1)or (2); and after completion of service described in clause (i), is discharged or released by reason of a sole survivorship discharge (as that term is defined in section 1174(i) of title 10). . Subsection
