Section 1143(e) of title 10, United States Code, is amended— in the heading, by adding ; after Skillbridge ; and Training in paragraph (1), by adding at the end Such a program shall be known as . Skillbridge . To carry out Skillbridge, the Secretary of Defense shall, not later than September 30, 2023— update Department of Defense Instruction 1322.29, titled Job Training, Employment Skills Training, Apprenticeships, and Internships (JTEST-AI) for Eligible Service Members ; and develop a funding plan for Skillbridge that includes funding lines across the future-years defense program under section 221 of title 10, United States Code.
