Chapter 31 of title 10, United States Code, is amended by inserting after section 510 the following new section: The Secretary concerned shall provide to a member, during initial entry training, information regarding registered apprenticeship programs related to the military occupational specialty or career field of such member. In this section, the term registered apprenticeship program means an apprenticeship program registered under the Act of August 16, 1937 (commonly known as the National Apprenticeship Act ; 50 Stat. 664, chapter 663; 29 U.S.C. 50 et seq. ). .
The table of sections at the beginning of such chapter is amended by inserting, after the item relating to section 510, the following new item: 510a. Provision of information regarding apprenticeships during initial entry training. .
