Section 605(a) of the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( 15 U.S.C. 1681c(a) ) is amended by adding at the end the following: Any adverse information related to any portion of a loan made, insured, or guaranteed under part B or made under part D of the Higher Education Act of 1965, to the extent the loan was repaid, canceled, or otherwise forgiven by the Secretary of Education. . Section 605(a) of the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( 15 U.S.C. 1681c(a) ), as amended by subsection (a), is further amended by adding at the end the following:
Any adverse information related to a private education loan (as defined under section 140(a) of the Truth in Lending Act) if such loan was provided to cover expenses related to attending a school owned by Corinthian Colleges, Inc. .
