Sec. 5412. Disclosure of businesses ties to Russia

Section 13 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 ( 15 U.S.C. 78m ) is amended by adding at the end the following: Any issuer required to file an annual or quarterly report under subsection
(a)that— does business in Russia, or with or through firms domiciled in Russia, regardless of where that business activity takes place, or with the Russian government, or with any entity owned by or affiliated with such government, regardless of where that business activity takes place, shall disclose in that report relevant facts and a description about the business activity. . The Securities and Exchange Commission shall within 270 days of enactment of this section define any necessary terms and amend its rules or forms, to carry out the requirements of the provision added by subsection (a).
