From amounts appropriated for port infrastructure development grants under section 54301(a) of title 46, United States Code, after the date of enactment of this Act for each of fiscal years 2023 through 2027, the Secretary of Transportation shall treat a project described in subsection
(b)as an eligible project under section 54301(a)(3) of such title for purposes of making grants under section 54301(a) of such title. A project described in this subsection is a project to provide shore power at a port that services passenger vessels described in section 3507(k) of title 46, United States Code.
