Not later than March 31, 2023, the Secretary of Defense, acting through the Director of the Missile Defense Agency, shall submit to the congressional defense committees a report containing— an assessment of the requirement to develop radiation hardened, thermally insensitive sensors for missile defense; and a funding profile, by year, of the total cost of integrating and testing such sensors that are under development.
