Sec. 1090. Target date for deployment of 5G wireless broadband infrastructure at all military installations

The Secretary of Defense shall— establish a target date by which the Secretary plans to deploy 5G wireless broadband infrastructure at all military installations; and establish metrics, which shall be identical for each of the military departments, to measure progress toward reaching the target required by paragraph (1). The Secretary shall submit to the congressional defense committees and annual report that includes— the metrics in use pursuant to subsection (a)(2); and the progress of the Secretary in reaching the target required by subsection (a)(1). No report shall be required under subsection
(b)after the date that is five years after the date of the enactment of this Act.
