Sec. 2865. Comptroller General report on community engagement activities at military installations in foreign countries

Not later than 180 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Comptroller General of the United States shall submit to the congressional defense committees a report containing the results of a study conducted by the Comptroller General on community engagement activities at military installations located in foreign countries. The report shall address the following: The programs and processes that exist at military installations located in foreign countries to manage relationships with the local community.
Whether existing programs and authorities are effective at fostering positive community relations at military installations located in foreign countries. An identification of any authorities or changes to existing programs that could help the Department of Defense improve relationships with local communities at military installations located in foreign countries.
