Section 1251(d) of the William M.
(Mac)Thornberry National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2021 ( Public Law 116–283 ; 134 Stat. 3951) is amended— by redesignating paragraph
(2)as paragraph (3); and by inserting after paragraph
(1)the following: Not later than 15 days after the submission of the report required by paragraph
(1)for fiscal year 2024, the Commander of the United States Indo-Pacific Command shall submit to the congressional defense committees a subsequent report containing a comparison of the specific cost estimates required by items
(aa)through
(ff)of paragraph (1)(B)(vi)(II) to the funding provided in the budget of the President (submitted to Congress pursuant to section 1105 of title 31, United States Code) for such items for such fiscal year. .
