Section 203 of the Water Resources Development Act of 2000 ( 33 U.S.C. 2269 ) is amended— in subsection (b)— in paragraph (2)— in subparagraph (B), by striking and at the end; by redesignating subparagraph
(C)as subparagraph (D); and by inserting after subparagraph
(B)the following: technical assistance to an Indian tribe, including— assistance for planning to ameliorate flood hazards, to avoid repetitive flooding impacts, to anticipate, prepare, and adapt to changing climatic conditions and extreme weather events, and to withstand, respond to, and recover rapidly from disruption due to flood hazards; and the provision of, and integration into planning of, hydrologic, economic, and environmental data and analyses; and ; and in paragraph (4), by striking $18,500,000 each place it appears and inserting $23,500,000 ; in subsection (d), by adding at the end the following: The Federal share of the cost of activities described in subsection (b)(2)(C) shall be 100 percent. ; and in subsection (e), by striking 2024 and inserting 2026 .
