As part of the authority of the Secretary to carry out the project for flood damage reduction, bank stabilization, and sediment and erosion control, Yazoo Basin, Mississippi Delta Headwaters, Mississippi, authorized by the matter under the heading in title I of Enhancement of water resource benefits and for emergency disaster work Public Law 98–8 (97 Stat. 22), the Secretary may carry out emergency maintenance activities, as the Secretary determines to be necessary, for features of the project completed before the date of enactment of this Act.
