Section 4961 of title 10, United States Code, is amended— in the matter preceding paragraph (1), by striking Director of the Defense Logistics Agency and inserting Secretary ; in paragraph (1), by striking three and inserting four ; and in paragraph (2)— in the matter preceding subparagraph
(A)by striking Director and inserting Secretary ; and in subparagraph (A), by inserting , including meetings of an association recognized under section 4954(f), after meetings . Section 4954 of title 10, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following new subsections: Eligible entities that provide procurement technical assistance pursuant to this chapter may form an association to pursue matters of common concern. If more than a majority of such eligible entities are members of such an association, the Secretary shall— recognize the existence and activities of such an association; and jointly develop with such association a model cooperative agreement that may be used at the option of the Secretary and an eligible entity. . Section 4953 of title 10, United States Code, is amended by inserting , and shall consult with an association recognized under section 4954(f) regarding any revisions to such regulations before the period at the end. Section 4955(a)(1) of title 10, United States Code, is amended by striking $1,000,000 and inserting $1,500,000 .
