Section 1104(c)(1)(A) of the National Security Act of 1947 ( 50 U.S.C. 3234(c)(1)(A) ) is amended— by striking a supervisor of the contracting agency and inserting a supervisor of the employing or contracting agency or employing contractor ; by striking contracting agency (or an employee designated by the head of that agency for such purpose) and inserting employing or contracting agency (or an employee designated by the head of that agency for that purpose) or employing contractor ; and by striking appropriate inspector general of the contracting agency and inserting appropriate inspector general of the employing or contracting agency .
