Section 6502 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2022 ( 22 U.S.C. 2348 note) is amended— in subsection (a)— by amending paragraph
(4)to read as follows: As applicable, a description of specific training on monitoring and adhering to international human rights and humanitarian law provided to the foreign country or entity receiving the assistance. ; and by striking paragraphs
(7)and (8); in subsection (b)— in the subsection heading, by striking ; and on programs under peacekeeping operations account in paragraph (1), in the matter preceding subparagraph (A)— by inserting authorized under section 551 of the Foreign Assistance Act of 1961 ( after 22 U.S.C. 2348 ) and security assistance ; and by striking foreign countries and all that follows through the colon and inserting foreign countries for any of the following purposes: ; by redesignating subsection
(c)as subsection (d); and by inserting after subsection (b), as amended, the following: The Secretary of State is authorized to integrate the elements of the report required by subsection
(b)into other reports required to be submitted annually to the appropriate congressional committees. .
